Compatibility

Use your own USA F-Zero ROM in .sfc or .smc format. The README documents Windows and Linux packages; a framework supporting other SNES chips is not proof of arbitrary-ROM compatibility.

Documented support and independently tested compatibility are different. AllRecomps has not run these games.

Development progress

The game integration documents optional HD Mode 7, widescreen and save-state controls. It is a specific F-Zero integration, not a generic SNES game launcher.

Known limitations

Optional widescreen and high-refresh rendering can have different behavior from the stock view. Keep a backup of saves and state files before an update; package or feature availability does not establish exhaustive testing of every track and setting.

Getting started

Extract the official Windows package and run FZeroSNESRecomp.exe, or make the Linux AppImage executable. Place/select your ROM as directed by the package and configure controls. F7 is the documented save-state control.
