Prepare your console

Homebrew projects require a compatible Switch setup. Check each port’s memory and launch requirements.

Check your edition

The source edition matters: Xbox, GameCube, PC and Android data are not automatically interchangeable.

Know the limitations

A published release does not guarantee a complete game or performance. Each profile explains what is documented.

Good to know

Before choosing a port

Are these eShop releases?

This selection covers independent homebrew projects. Each adapts a specific game edition to Switch and has its own authors, instructions and limitations.

Are they all recompilations?

There are static recompilations, ports built from decompiled code and wrappers providing another environment’s APIs. Filters and project profiles identify the documented technique.

Where are the files and downloads?

Open a profile for the official repository and releases. AllRecomps does not host commercial games. Each project’s instructions explain the required edition and files from your own copy.

Does this change original-console categories?

Switch is this collection’s destination. A project based on an Xbox game retains its source platform and can also appear here when Switch support is documented.
