About this project
xboxrecomp lifts the Xbox NTSC-U executable instruction by instruction into C. The project supplies Switch platform code and GPU renderers, rather than a general-purpose Xbox emulator.

Compatibility
Use extracted Xbox files including default.xbe and the NFSUNDER data. The documented Switch setup requires full-memory title takeover; a raw ISO left in the data folder is not the documented installation.

Documented support and independently tested compatibility are different. AllRecomps has not run these games.

Known limitations
OpenGL cube maps, bump/dot-product texture modes and fixed-function lighting remain open work. Car reflections are documented for Vulkan; renderer-specific features should not be assumed identical.

Getting started
Use the official nfsu2x package, placing the NRO under /switch/nfsu2x/ and extracted disc data under game/. Follow the release’s Vulkan versus OpenGL package instructions.

Settings are stored beside the NRO; game saves stay in game/UDATA. Back up that directory and the configuration files before replacing the port during an update.

Some projects require files from your own copy of the original game. Follow the official instructions.
