About this project

The wrapper loads and patches the original Android binary within a minimal Android compatibility environment on Switch. This is distinct from a PlayStation ROM, an emulator core or a static recompilation of the PS1 executable.

Compatibility

Required input is APK v1.0.6 with lib/arm64-v8a/libsotn.so. The assets/res2 container wraps an OBB and another archive; follow the documented unpacking rather than copying only the APK.

Known limitations

Album/applet mode is explicitly unsupported. The required edition and ARM64 library must match the documented layout; the README does not provide a hardware-by-hardware performance certification.

Getting started

Place sotn.nro, libsotn.so and the extracted assets/ tree in /switch/sotn/. Launch using full-memory game override or a compatible forwarder, following the maintainer’s instructions.

Save data and settings are documented under /switch/sotn/save/. Back up that directory before replacing the NRO or game data.
