This XenonRecomp project translates the Xbox 360 NFL Head Coach 09 executable to C++ and supplies a native Windows host for graphics, audio, input and local saves.

Compatibility
Use your own Xbox 360 title 45410841 ISO. Setup checks Visual Studio 2022+ C++/Clang/CMake components and Git; source requirements also document Python 3.12, Ninja and the specified LGPL FFmpeg build.

Documented support and independently tested compatibility are different. AllRecomps has not run these games.
Development progress
The README reports menus, career setup, play calling, clock/downs advancement and a 21-minute unattended match, plus save/load. These are project results, not an AllRecomps simulation test.

Known limitations
Some PowerPC/VMX patches remain unverified against hardware tests, and several console services are stubs. Visiting Xbox Live menus does not establish functioning online services. The reported match is limited-duration coverage, not a complete career validation.

Getting started
Run the official HC09Setup.exe, choose a short writable installation path and your disc, and allow local extraction/recompilation. It offers optional update checks that ask before rebuilding. Use the generated shortcut and back up build/userdata/content saves before an update.
