Compatibility

Use data from your own supported Steam/GOG installation of the original games. The repository documents Windows, Linux and macOS, with macOS 11.3+ as its Apple baseline. This is unrelated to the later 2008 reboot.

Documented support and independently tested compatibility are different. AllRecomps has not run these games.

Development progress

The repository documents the replacement engine, configuration and desktop build paths; it does not supply a completed per-game campaign test matrix.

Known limitations

The project’s remaster features describe its replacement engine, not permission to redistribute the original trilogy. No complete campaign or every-OS test matrix was established by this documentation review; verify issues for the particular game and build.

Getting started

Follow the build/package instructions for your OS. Windows source builds produce Tatou.exe; run Tatou from the original game-data working directory. Linux follows the same data-directory principle. Settings are kept in aitd_remaster.cfg.

Some projects require files from your own copy of the original game. Follow the official instructions.
