Compatibility

Supply your own exact supported title 584108A9 package. Windows 10/11 and Direct3D 12 are documented; the importer checks the build rather than accepting arbitrary GoldenEye files.

Documented support and independently tested compatibility are different. AllRecomps has not run these games.

Development progress

The project documents desktop input and reported LAN features for its specific XBLA build. It does not claim restored official Xbox Live services here.

The latest non-prerelease GitHub release observed is v0.9.6a. A release does not establish stability, complete gameplay or tested platform support.

Known limitations

Reported LAN/virtual-LAN behavior does not mean restored Xbox Live support. The source package and build must match. Unsigned-app warnings should be evaluated with provenance and OS guidance, not a blanket instruction to disable security.

Getting started

Extract the official runtime/launcher and follow its local package-import instructions. Configure controller or keyboard/mouse after setup and keep saves backed up. Consult the project’s LAN instructions separately if using its multiplayer features.
