Compatibility

Use your North American SCUS-97199 ISO or newly supported European SCES-50916 disc. Windows and Linux need OpenGL 4.6. PAL support is new and awaits testing; the main documented hardware tests are on an Ubuntu/AMD laptop.

Documented support and independently tested compatibility are different. AllRecomps has not run these games.

Development progress

The maintainer reports all planets through Drek/credits on v0.4.0 and a New Game+ opening check, with one executed-code function still to port. This is not a numeric full-game completion metric.

The latest non-prerelease GitHub release observed is v0.4.0. A release does not establish stability, complete gameplay or tested platform support.

Known limitations

Later planets have only one documented complete playthrough and the port still needs polish. PAL mapping is untested. Source changes after the current release, such as launcher/lighting/audio work, should not be presented as shipped features of that release.

Getting started

For v0.4.0 follow manual setup.sh --iso on Linux or setup.cmd then play.cmd on Windows. The README describes a new launcher on main but explicitly says the v0.4.0 release lacks it. Use release-specific instructions rather than assuming future launcher assets exist.

Some projects require files from your own copy of the original game. Follow the official instructions.
