Not supportedThe 0.3.0 release explicitly lists online play as unsupported. Mod compatibility and a virtual SD card do not provide internet multiplayer.

About this project
The main PowerPC program and game modules are statically translated to C++ with WiiCompiled. The project documents VS matches, saving, menus and the openings of Classic and Subspace Emissary; it is still a work in progress.

Project+, Project+Ex, REX, Brawl Minus and Legacy XP can be loaded through a virtual Wii SD card. The author reports match tests of these builds. Replaced modules and patched code run through a built-in PowerPC interpreter, so this is not wholly native execution for every mod.

Compatibility
Uses the player’s own Brawl USA RSBE01 revision 1 image (.iso, .ciso or .wbfs), with about 7 GB extracted. A Linux download is documented for 64-bit distributions from 2022 onward with Vulkan drivers; the Windows package is separate.

Documented support and independently tested compatibility are different. AllRecomps has not run these games.

Known limitations
Only the starts of Subspace Emissary and Classic are documented as tested; online play is unsupported. Experimental 120 FPS uses interpolation without changing game speed. Large mod card images need extra space and initial preparation time; mods are obtained separately from their authors.

Getting started
Extract the Windows ZIP or Linux archive, open Brawl Recompiled and select your disc on the Play page. Import once and press PLAY. For mods, follow the release’s engine/UserData/SD instructions and select Codes to load in the Mods page; do not substitute a whole-game download.
