Compatibility

Use your own GameCube or Wii disc; the Korean Wii release is excluded. D3D12, Vulkan 1.1+ or Metal is recommended. The build guide documents Windows, Linux and macOS; Android has a best-effort OpenGL ES path.

Documented support and independently tested compatibility are different. AllRecomps has not run these games.

Development progress

The README documents disc import and multiple graphics backends. The matching decompilation foundation is GameCube even when Wii data is imported.

The latest non-prerelease GitHub release observed is v2.0.3. A release does not establish stability, complete gameplay or tested platform support.

Known limitations

A Wii disc still produces the GameCube HUD because the matching foundation is the GameCube decompilation. D3D11 and Android OpenGL ES are fallback paths with reduced accuracy or performance; support is not a guarantee for every driver.

Getting started

Follow the official installation guide. For a source build, initialize submodules and use the OS-specific CMake preset with CMake 3.25+ and Python 3. The documented command starts Dusklight with --dvd followed by your ISO, RVZ or other supported disc image.
