Compatibility
Use your own GOG/Epic/Steam Fallout 2 installation, including master.dat, critter.dat, patch000.dat and data/. Windows, Linux, macOS 10.11+ Intel/Apple Silicon, Android and iOS have separate installation guides.

Documented support and independently tested compatibility are different. AllRecomps has not run these games.
Development progress
The project describes the base game as working and records specific mod restrictions. This does not establish blanket compatibility with the extensive Fallout mod ecosystem.

Known limitations
Restoration Project, Fallout Et Tu and Olympus 2207 are not supported. Nevada/Sonora support is partial and depends on avoiding unsupported Sfall extensions; other major conversions are untested. Android debug and release builds have separate data/saves.

Getting started
Install the official CE package and copy/select your original files as its platform guide describes. On iOS the first launch exposes File Sharing for importing data. Match lowercase filenames or fallout2.cfg paths exactly; preserve saves before replacing the engine.
